I would truly like to thank everyone who joined us for our Fall Expo on Wednesday! We work extremely hard to pull this event together twice a year, and we absolutely love having the opportunity to host all of you. Our semiannual Expo is an excellent chance for us to meet face-to-face with our current and prospective customers, while allowing them to get an inside look at the solutions we offer and the latest trends.
At the Expo, our guests were able to get a behind-the-scenes look at all of our various departments, including promotional, printing, web design and development, and digital marketing. Throughout the building, we offered snacks, games, and opportunities to win fun prizes. Our Millennium photo booth was also a fun new addition where visitors could have their photo taken or snap a selfie to share on social media.
In addition to being able to browse our award-winning showroom, our clients were able to meet in person with our marketing consultants and promo product specialists to discuss their promotional needs. This year we were also joined by a record number of promotional vendors, who set up booths and displays throughout the building so that our customers could learn about all of the newest products. Along with our many promotional vendors, we also had Orbus, our preferred trade show vendor, with us showing a variety of innovative trade show displays.
Throughout the day, our various departments worked together to create unique and informative seminars for our guests. Each of the four seminars was live-tweeted by our Social Media Manager.
The first seminar of the morning was Design Scoop!, a fun talk show-style discussion about the latest design trends. Our host, Director of Digital Marketing Kelley Trosko, interviewed various guests about recent projects and new trends in the design/digital/web world. Our Creative Director, Michelle Fazenbaker, talked about the benefits of internal promotions to motivate your employees and external promotions to increase sales and loyalty. After that, Web Consultant Rich Cook discussed the importance and increasing demand for mobile-friendly responsive design websites. Finally, Digital Marketing Manager Julie Braverman spoke about search marketing, landing pages, and remarketing campaigns.
After Design Scoop!, Eron Cohen, our Digital Marketing Specialist and resident search-expert, presented Digital Jeopardy. This interactive Jeopardy-style game allowed the audience to participate by selecting and answering a variety of questions about digital marketing. The topics included analytics, content marketing, pay-per-click advertising, search engine optimization, and social media. The audience participation for this seminar was fantastic, and Eron was able to go through the questions and add a good amount of additional information and input. Next, our guests enjoyed a quick lunch break with some delicious sandwiches and treats before coming back together for the Marketing Shopping Network demo. Presented by me and Project Manager Dawn Griffith, this live demo offered an informative walkthrough of the Online Marketing Resource Center, a new and unique software solution from Millennium. This “software as a service” allows users to manage all of their marketing from one easy location by centralizing marketing assets in and allowing users to customize and order materials directly. The final seminar of the day was our fun and fashionable Runway Preview hosted by Marketing Consultant Mike Romeo. This fast-paced fashion show featured various Millennium models sporting the latest fall and winter apparel and promotional products, with Mike offering great insights into each item and how they can be used for marketing. Our models included Mike as the Traveling Salesman, Julie as the Modern Digital Professional, Matt as the Golf Enthusiast, Patty as the Fitness Lover, Kevin as the Sporty Biker, and Kelley as the Team Tailgater.
