Help Millennium Collect Items for the Needy This Holiday Season

At Millennium, we are truly grateful for our good fortune. All year long, we participate in charity and volunteer opportunities to show our gratitude and give back to the community. During the holiday season, we feel it’s especially important to give back. That’s why we’re collecting items for the less fortunate throughout November and December.

Maryland Food BankMaryland Food Bank Canned Food Drive
Millennium will be collecting canned and non-perishable foods for the Maryland Food Bank from now until Monday, December 15, 2014. According to the Maryland Food Bank, their most needed items include canned proteins, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, rice, juices, breakfast items, soups, and dairy. You can find more details on the most-needed items here. Our collection box is located in the front lobby, so please feel free to drop off items during the week or bring them along when you visit for a meeting!

Toys for TotsMarine Corps Toys for Tots Drive
Also until Monday, December 15th, Millennium will be holding our annual Toys for Tots Drive. All toys must be new and unwrapped for any age ranging from newborns to 17. We are unable to accept toys that are used, look like weapons, have law enforcement or military themes, or contain chemicals. Please drop off your new, unwrapped toy in Millennium’s front lobby, or you can make a monetary donation in the form of cash or check payable to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Monetary donations are tax deductible.

Please consider stopping by our office and contributing a food and/or toy donation! If you have any questions, you can call our office at (301)725-8000. Thank you for helping us make this a wonderful holiday season for our neighbors in need!
