Millennium recently hosted our Spring Design, Marketing, and Digital education event and according to the feedback we received from attendees it was a great success! Those who attended were able to tour our recently renovated office, meet the Millennium team, and learn from our industry professionals on topics such as print, search engine optimization, and social media.
The day began with an entertaining fashion show, displaying the latest spring and summer trends worn by Millennium team members. Items such as golf wear, team sports gear, and executive and corporate attire were showcased. After the show, audience members were able to feel the fabrics and discuss imprint, style, and color options with our promotional Marketing Consultant, Cheryl.
After the fashion show, our Google certified Digital and Search Engine Marketing Specialists, Eron and James, gave a lively presentation and answered attendees’ questions about paid campaigns, Google Adwords, Bing Ads, landing pages, and how to increase on-line conversions. The audience asked amazing questions and Eron and James were able to share a lot of valuable and interesting information.
Following a delicious lunch, our newest partner presented how software can broaden the reach of print documents with content optimized for web and mobile devices. They explained how utilizing branded apps via video, audio, hyperlinks, and more can really bring print documents to life and how to turn a printed document into a digital brochure with the latest mobile technology.
Our last seminar, 2015 Social and Content Marketing Trends lead by our Digital Marketing Specialist Bobbie and Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist Lindsay, was attended by many and it’s clear social media is becoming a priority for many businesses. Bobbie and Lindsay discussed the benefits of participating in the social media conversation as a business and why consumers are adapting to adopting brands via social media and how to capitalize on this development. They also discussed content marketing and how to create a robust blog to connect with consumers and how to develop a humanized brand persona.
In addition to the seminars, attendees were able to interact with our Millennium team members, ask supplementary questions, and meet with our preferred vendors such as Vantage Apparel, SanMar Corporation, Alphabroder Inc., and Augusta Active. Bart, Millennium’s Senior Pressman, gave live demonstrations of our iGen4 printer, and our Google certified team registered participants for Google my Business and Google Maps.
All in all, it was a fantastic day, full of learning, sharing, and collaborating. Thank you very much to those who attended and participated in our seminars, and we hope to see everyone soon at our Google Happy Hour and our Fall Expo!
