SPCA’s 25th Annual Walk & Run for the Animals

On Sunday, May 1, the Millennium Woof Pack hopes to raise over $400 in donations for animals through the SPCA of Anne Arundel County’s 25th Annual Walk & Run for the Animals; SPCA’s largest fundraiser of the year! In order to be a “pack,” we must have a team of at least four members. Sporting personalized Pack t-shirts, Millennium encourages anyone who’s interested to join in! There’s still time to register, so sign up today!

0001Held at the scenic Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, Maryland, a 5K is scheduled to begin promptly at 8 a.m., while the walk starts at 9 a.m., accompanied by furry friends! We ask volunteers to arrive at the walk at 8:30 a.m. with their companions if they so choose. Altogether, the event goes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In an effort to provide comfortable and suitable shelter and rehabilitation to animals in need, any money that’s raised will in turn assist the SPCA of Anne Arundel County in continuing to develop and facilitate life-saving programs for the community and the lives of our beloved furry companions. By actively participating, Millennium is proud to help the many homeless animals that enter the shelter each year after living in unfortunate living conditions without proper love and care. Just this event alone rose over $230,000 with over 2,000 proud participants and their loyal four-legged friends last year. The SPCA of Anne Arundel County has also recently achieved one of highest life-saving rates in this county at an impressive 98 percent. By coming out and supporting the SCPA of Anne Arundel County, you are significantly aiding the 2,500 homeless animals that enter the shelter each year. This year’s Walk & Run for the Animals event’s goal is $240,000, but we know we can top that!
